Pleioblastus HindsiiA dense and very upright hedge bamboo. Fast spreading and quite drought-tolerant. Shoots regularly throughout the season and good to eat. The leatherly leaves are long and pointed making this bamboo particularly good for screens and windbreaks. It is salt-tolerant.
