Greenstripe Vivax (Bright yellow with green stripes, large leaves, tall and fast-growing, cold-hardy)
Phyllostachys vivax 'Aureocaulis'A fast-growing timber with shiny, bright yellow canes with bold green stripes. Similar to bambusoides but considerably hardier. Vivax has quite large bright green leaves. It stands upright and quickly forms a hedge or grove. Has a white, powdery band beneath each node. A rare variety.
