This exciting option is available for all installations and hedges and will ensure you rest easy with your bamboo investment. We check on your plants' overall health regularly, provide maintenance, and will replace plants or barrier if recommended!

Warranty Information

Coverage: This warranty provides protection to the buyer of their significant investment made in a BGN-installed bamboo hedge or planting. Potted plants and B&B plants have a 3 week warranty.

Term: The term of this limited warranty is 3 months from the date of installation.

Responsibility of the customer: It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Bamboo Giant at the first sign of plant distress and to continue to care for the said plant until Bamboo Giant responds. Failure to report unhealthy plants in a timely manner or to provide proper care will void this warranty.

Covered items: Bamboo Giant will cover all plants and any rhizome barrier that have been installed by Bamboo Giant under the terms and conditions of this warranty.

Staking and thinning: If plants are staked by Bamboo Giant at the time of installation, they must remain staked through the term of this warranty. Stressed plants can be helped through thinning or topping of the canes, but the customer must contact Bamboo Giant for assistance.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover individual bamboo canes that die, leafing events, yellowing caused by prolonged exposure to direct sun, flowering or seeding, or damage caused by neglect, abuse, vandalism, improper use of fertilizers, natural acts of nature, gophers, animals or pests. In addition, any plant that has been moved or removed from the original installation site by anyone other than Bamboo Giant is not under warranty. A plant is not considered dead unless the entire root ball is dead.

Required care: Bamboo Giant may require specific care or environmental changes to keep the plants healthy and the warranty valid. This may include topping or thinning up to 50% of the plant material. Failure to provide these items will void the warranty.

Replacement or refund: Bamboo Giant will, at their discretion, replace or refund the plant cost of any plant that dies during the warranty term.

Rhizome barrier: Bamboo Giant will, at their discretion, inspect, repair, replace or refund the cost of any barrier that fails during the term of this warranty.

Customization: Rhizome barrier that has been custom cut to accommodate existing landscaping, underground pipes, or other obstacles per the customer’s request is not covered under this warranty at those points of customization.

Payment: Final payment of installation confirms that this warranty is in effect. Installations not fully paid for are not covered under the terms and conditions of this warranty.
